Teach A Man To Fish....
/Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ve probably heard a phrase about the repercussions of teaching a man how to fish instead of giving him one… and we’re serious about calling them repercussions - the unintended consequences of learning how to fly fish.
For fly fishing, though, the spark that initiates your next love affair is the new consequence you weren’t expecting, and we absolutely love sharing that passion with anglers.
Our first 3 groups of new-to-the-sport anglers hit the river with us this spring and got a chance to put their learning and understanding of casting mechanics, trout stream entomology, and fish behavior together to experience the excitement of catching their first trout. To watch the faces of our students light up holding their fish along with feeling those “A-HA!” moments is why we enjoy bringing people to the sport and showing them why we love this sport so much.
