"…all good things—trout as well as eternal salvation—come by grace and grace comes by art and art does not come easy.” - Norman McLean, A River Runs Through It
Fly casting is the cornerstone of learning to fly fish. If you can’t reach the fish you can’t catch them. That’s where instruction plays a pivotal role into making sure you understand every aspect of cast - the time, the motions, the physics. It’s all vital to becoming a well rounded caster.
Same goes for the fishing side of things. Once you understand how to cast properly you can start focusing on the fish - where do they live, where do they eat, how do they hide, and how to land them. We want our students to learn everything there is to learn about the sport we love so much, and we make sure our instructors take the time to show our students everything we can share about the sport we love. These instructors are the backbone of our shop and will help get you started in your fly fishing journey.

Regan’s passion is swinging flies utilizing both two-hand and single-hand spey casting techniques.

A true local, he spends all his free time chasing fish in the DMV area, as well as Pennsylvania.
