Day 1 has you hunting mountain grouse in the mountains of the Jefferson National Forest. You will follow Wes and his faithful English setters up and down the hills looking for this elusive game bird - the most difficult hunting in the state. You’ll be exhausted when it’s over, so back to camp for dinner and drinks around the fire. Gear for this upland hunting is typical - field garments, rain gear, jackets, and blaze orange hats. 20-gauge shotguns are the norm, but some folks prefer 12-gauges. Wes is sponsored by and exclusively uses Kent ammunition.

On day 2, join Wes for a full day float trip down the Jackson River for hard fighting brown & rainbow trout. Whether you're a fly fishing veteran or a complete newbie, we'll get you on some incredible fish and share a day that you won't soon forget. Waders, boots, jackets, 5 or 6-weight rods, and a host of streamers and nymphs complete your gear for the float. A little luck doesn’t hurt either.
